Jerry Flannery appeal turned down, 6-weeks stands

Munster and Ireland’s Jerry Flannery’s appeal for the 6-week ban he received for an incident during the Ireland-France 6-nations game was heard this morning in London at 10am.

The appeal was turned down, 6-week ban stands. After the decision this is what Jerry Flannery had to say:  “Disappointed, appeal turned down and 6 weeks suspension upheld. Its gonna be a long trip home from London now.”
